FITN Presidential Primary Essay Contest

The First In The Nation (FITN) Presidential Primary Essay Contest was established in 2021 to encourage young people to think creatively about our state’s great heritage hosting the FITN primary and the benefits it provides to the nation. New Hampshire celebrated the 100th Anniversary hosting the FITN Presidential Primary in 2020. Other states have sought to displace this role in the past and will continue to do so in the future.

This contest is open to all New Hampshire High School Students and specifically tailored to charter, private, education freedom account, and home-schooled students in 2023. Essays are judged for historical accuracy, adherence to the topic, organization of materials, interest, originality, spelling, grammar, and punctuation.

The top 10 applicants will receive a certificate of achievement from the PAC. First, second and third place State winners receive cash scholarship prizes.
